NBA hands 76ers’ Embiid technical for towel wave

Despite not yet taking the court this season, Philadelphia 76ers star big man Joel Embiid picked up a technical foul on Monday, when the league made the announcement a day after he waved a towel from the bench during an Indiana Pacers’ free-throw attempt.
